Porcelain, blue and white; brand: "Da Ming Wanli nianzhi" (made in the Wanli era); about the middle of the neck two slightly green tinted lion heads; stylized waves and flowers, tendril-like chrysanthemums, peony tendril; octagonal middle zone, each decorated with five chrysanthemums; shoulder with Daoist symbols and the "eight precious things"; ornamental frieze of ruyi forms.
