Description
Fine, bright shard. Painted in cobalt blue and black underneath the glaze, partly floating off into the glaze. Transparent, greenish shimmering glaze; two lettering bands in carelessly drawn Naskhi-Ductus crosswise divide the interior of the bowl into four sections, another lettering band extends around the upper inner rim of the wall. The lettering is difficult to read due to the careless way of writing and the fact that the painting floats away into the glaze. Missing parts caused by additions make reading even more difficult.
