Description
The naked Christ Child, clothed only with a flesh-colored lendent, stands in a frontal position on a round, green plate. The red-cheeked face was framed by brown locks reaching into the neck. Above big, brown eyes are raised, thin eyebrow strokes visible. Under the small, but pronounced chin, the shape passes fleshy bonelessly into the wide, short neck. The long upper body and the legs are almost muscularly simulated. Both arms are movable in the shoulder and elbow joints. The two fingers of the right hand are raised to blessing.
