Description
The evening, glowing reddish under a green-yellow sky on the right, is reflected and the gables of the old town in the sluggish flowing river, which is bordered on the right by a gravel bank, five boats and a few poles in the water on the horizon. Three reddish-brown sails at the left edge of the picture in front of a green tree; at the right of the city gate distant sailors in front of the sun. Inscribed at the left. K. Heffner.
