Recto: above the right image field in lead (upside down): "p 24 ½" [presumably from the time of origin]; verso: browned margin all around, probably from former mounting, at upper margin centre: black or blackened stain, on the right in black pencil, reading across the orientation of the sheet: "JA"; sheet centre stamp SGSM 18/Lugt 1094 c in brown, therein inventory number 1940: 43; backing board: below the sheet in lead: "Inv. No. 1940:43"; passe-partout-mask: under the cut-out on the right in lead: "Inv.Nr. 1940:43"; lower margin centre, in lead: "16 I" [portfolio number]; on the right, in lead: "Friedrich Sustris"
