Formerly from the library of Marie Ebner von Eschenbach (ex libris), who sent it to Isolde Kurz as the postcard writes. Purchased by the museum in 1987 from a private collector in Tübingen; had acquired it in Brno (Czech Republic) that same year. Other previous owners in the period between 1933 and 1945 unknown.
