Description
In the middle of the picture two horses are shown staggered one behind the other. A grinding stone with a device to the left of the horses indicates a smithy. The horses are accompanied by a dog on the right behind them and a farmer whose hat-covered head protrudes just above the back of the rear horse. In the right background a farmhouse can be seen.
Signed on the left: W. Verschuur. F.
On the back of the painting an adhesive label of the company Schenker & Co. GmbH Berlin with the item number 1180 as well as a blue lettering, recognizable the numbers 118, rest illegible.
