Kummerlé, Brandenburg; until April 1953 Johanna Kummerlé (wife of Alfred Kummerlé); after leaving the GDR, a collection of 42 paintings was transferred to public ownership; handed over to the museum on 26.3.1954 by the GDR Ministry of Finance, Department of Safekeeping
Zugangsgeschichte
Werke aus der Sammlung Kummerlé, die zwischen 1942 und 1944 von Alfred Kummerlé in Holland erworben wurden. Zuweisung durch das Ministerium erfolgte nach Ausreise der Witwe Kummerlés aus der DDR und damit verbundener Übernahme der Sammlung in Volkseigentum.
