Lying river god (Bozzetto made of lime wood)

The god rests on the right side of the body, with the left leg and the right leg stretched out. The right upper arm rests on a ball, the left hand supports the uplifted, long-bearded head; the left arm is raised obliquely upwards to the right. Beneath it is a cloth, which covers the left leg in sharp ridge folds. Upper part of the figure with right forearm, head and the upper half of the left upper arm from a special piece carved and glued; left forearm also worked out of a special piece.
