Description
In Karl Rottmann's smooth painting of the final mountain ranges, we look towards the setting sun behind a towering rock massif, which shines in the clear sky and over the lake, which is bordered on both sides by headlands and ends in a bay surrounded by trees. Villa with three cypresses above the grove, on the right a small village, in front four monks (one on horseback) and a servant walking to the left. Inscribed at lower right: Albert Zimmermann.
