Provenance
1930 acquisition of at least 5 paintings, "Panorama of Rome. The modern city of Monte Mario" by Prof. Alois Schardt. 1937 by Prof. Schardt at Galerie Franke, Munich, together with other works from the estate of Frederick Loos for recovery because of dissolution of his collection. 1938 purchase of the painting together with 4 other paintings "Panorama of Rome" (The Modern City of Monte Mario), taught and tested by Atelier Troost by the Chancellery of the gallery Günter Franke Munich, for 10000.- RM.
