Description
Man (with beard and headgear) plays harp, in front of him, on an opulent music stand, a music book, man dressed in long robe with cape, scene in an interior, on the wall a coat of arms, hangings hang down from the ceilings, columns in the room, window with view of architecture, at the bottom right various stuff lying around (indefinable)

Possibly part of the auction of the Dr. M. Waldeck collection; auction at Amsler & Ruthard on 14 February 1887 and the following days, sale to "Eik"/"Eck"; auction at Rudolph Lepkes Auctions, Berlin, on 14 March 1905, sale to "Greve"; probably during the war, at the latest since 09 July 1945 until today Lippische Landesbibliothek Detmold, initially handed over in trust by the British Military Government Detmold, since 20 July 1945 official handover for safekeeping.
