These ivory reliefs, together with 35 other objects, entered the inventory of the Cultural History Collection on 30 May 1941 through a purchase from a collection warehouse with objects from Jewish ownership in Graz on the premises of the former Wechsler company in Lagergasse in Graz. There is no reference to the original owner in the records.
