Description
In a room richly decorated with pictures, an elderly man in a light-coloured dressing gown with purple trimming stands in front of a baroque secretary. He is holding a picture in his left hand, which he is cleaning with a sponge. At the back right an easel with a painting, beside it a high basket.
Inscribed at lower right: A. F. Werner.
