Description
Die sitzende Maria trägt weite wallende Kleider nach antikem Vorbild. Auf ihren Knien ruht Christus, seine Kreuzmale sind farblich hervorgehoben.

Discovered 2010 by the munitions recovery ahead of lignite mining Nochten near the former hunting lodge of Weißwasser, excavated by the Saxon State Office of Archaeology (Activity abbreviation WW-45) - restituted in January 2015 to the heirs of the original owner
