Description
Koppchen and saucer with gold decoration. The small saucer on gilt stand ring, on the top of the edge of golden ornamental frieze with arrowheads and point chains. Gold decoration etched in the background: on an ornamental console 2 Chinese cooking tea in a garden, above it a coat of arms in a large cartouche: 4 six-pointed stars with 2 crossed, hanging arrows, as a half-figure with sword and star as a helmet ornament (after Prof. Dr. EW Braun Wappen the Nuremberg physician Johann Wilhelm Widmann, died 1743, after a information procured by Dr. G. Schiedlausky from the regional church archive in Nuremberg on March 3, 1720 in Nuremberg married to Anna Magdalena Engelland). Yellowish glaze. - The Koppchen on partially gilded stand ring, on its outer wall Chinoiserie and coats of arms similarly as on the saucer, likewise the golden ornament fries inside at the lip. In the background, blackbird-like bird on a branch. In the bottom the luster mark ("10"?); in the foot edge cut mark. Gold decor probably Augsburg, maybe 1720-30 .-- Brands: Koppchen: In the bottom luster mark "10" (?); in the foot edge cut mark. - Mass: saucer dm. 12.5 cm h. 2 cm cup dm. 7.6 cm h. 4.4 cm.
