Description
Bust of a young woman with her upper body slightly turned to the left, her gaze slightly turned to the right. She wears black hair, which is decorated with pearls and a textile blossom. Her blue and white dress is decorated with bows. On the back of the painting is an auction number by Hans W. Lange (73). Counterpart to BM00063/ST and BM00066/ST.
Provenance
Until January 1943 probably in unknown collection in Dresden. In the auction at Hans. W. Lange submitted from 27 to 29 January 1943 as lot no. 73 (cipher "22. Dresden"). Acquired there by the director of the Bomann Museum.
