Potpourri vase

Four-piece porcelain potpourri vase: KP00171A: cup-like vase with large bowl, short shaft and flat foot on a square plinth; on the rim of the bowl gilded wavy band as decoration, below it a circulating golden line; on the rim of the bowl two opposite round medallions with golden frame; in the medallions romantic river landscapes with monuments/pilgrimage sites and wanderers are depicted; at the transition to the shaft leaf frieze with leaves oriented upwards, border and central ridge of the leaves gilded; on the upper rim of the shaft another gilded wavy band; on the foot two circumferential golden lines and in the space in between leaf frieze with leaf tips pointing upwards, border and central ridge of the leaves gilded; horizontal edges of the plinth gilded, on the sides golden wave ornament in rectangular golden frame; on the underside of the vase foot in underglaze blue company mark "F" (Fürstenberg) as well as the number "5"; on the unglazed underside of the plinth incised marks "5" and "J" (? ). KP00171B: disc-shaped insert with conical rim and five round openings (diameter 2 cm) as well as funnel-like attachment in the centre; rim of the disc, border of the holes and rim of the funnel gilded on the top. KP00171C: flat, conical lid with frame, tapering strongly towards the top; instead of a pommel open towards the top; in the lid circumferentially 8 large, round holes (diameter 2 cm) and in the row below in each case in the interspaces 8 smaller holes (diameter approx. 1.1 cm); around the neck circumferential decoration of hanging leaves; rim and central ridge of the leaves as well as rim of the holes and rim of the lid gilded. KP00171D: Pommel in the form of a hollow stopper with a pine cone as the upper finish; edges and central ridge of the scales, tip and base of the cone as well as rim of the stopper gilded.
