Description
Two riders with cylinder and dogs behind a fleeing sow. Front right the sow incurred by four Dogs. One rider jumped off the horse and holds with his right hand the left hind leg of the sow. With the left he swings the riding crop. On the left the second rider. In the background a gravel pit, right before it bushes.

1936 auction of the estate of the Government Council iR Dr. Paul Heck, at Rudolf Lepkes Kunstauktionshaus. Among the no. 457, the painting "Hubertus Hunting". Buyer Albrecht, acquisition for 220.- RM. 1938 acquisition of the painting by the art dealer Schütte, Bad Kissingen from the gallery Lepke Berlin. Resale of the painting to the Domgalerie Cologne. 1943 Purchase of the painting by Gallery Almas-Dietrich from the Domgalerie Cologne. 1943 Purchase of the painting by the Chancellery of the gallery Almas- Dietrich, Munich, for 28.000.- RM. 1945 acquisition of the painting from the former hiding Altaussee in the CCP Munich. 1962 handover of the painting by the Federal Minister of the Treasury in the departmental assets of Ministry of Foreign Affair. 2013 use the painting to equipment purposes in the German embassies in Brussels and London.
