At the back of the room a girl is still asleep; on her bed a girl dresses her stockings. Above it is a small window through which two peasant boys look into the room. To the right of the stove, which is hung with equipment and clothes-pieces, another bed, barefoot, stands a girl who closes her red bodice skirt and looks at the window group.
