Description
Tournament armor with helmet, chest, bracers, gloves, greaves, foot rails, tartsche, horse forehead, with several shields and plume sleeves, 3 breakers, a pike-pol, a saddle. Helmet lined with leather. All parts primed black, decorated. On the pike-pol and the horse forehead the coat of arms of Duke Friedrich Wilhelm I of Saxony-Weimar-Altenburg is painted in oil paint technique. The bushings are etched and gilded with corncracks. The ornate brass buckles are gold plated. On the main parts of the Augsburg brand is smashed in.
