Description
The sepia to ochre village street fills the foreground. On the left are the houses behind two trees. Over a herd of cattle approaching the viewer, the view is led along the road into the distance illuminated from behind on the left. The countryside goes into collour blue in the distance above which a streaky sky of clouds, illuminated yellowishly by the evening sun, with a blue-grey weather wall to the right forms the conclusion. Inscribed at lower left: Ed. Schleich.
