The picture has an oval shape, but was possibly cropped.

Shown are two men's heads to the right in profile.

Signed upper left: Rouault

On the back handwritten in pencil: "Rm 18,-", "Nr. 1530" and other illegible numbers, possibly 24/14 or 2//14

Adhesive label on the back: "...(erased) by Georges Rouault"

Provenance

On the part of the "Foundation Rouault" (Paris) there are doubts about the authenticity of the work.

The origin of the painting is unclear. Today private property.
