Description
A king sits surrounded by three councillors on a golden throne in his palace courtyard; a knight in golden armor brings a tied-up king before him; two kings, who also wear crowns, are seperated from a group of prisoners on the right and are brought before the king; the clothes are Italian and of the 15th century; the walls of the palace are decorated with reliefs and busts; the golden background of the painting is, for the most part, emphasized by hatching.
