Description
In a habit-alike frock, on oval floor plinth. Under his right arm a bagpipe, both hands at the chanter. Oak wood, full-round, Dark stainded. Counterpart to previous one. Former collection Schwarz, Vienna, Katalog Lepke 1910, Tafel 21. Collection James Simon, Berlin, Katalog Cassirer-Helbing, Nr. 222 with pcture (Bode in introduction: ... maybe model for a bronze casting, familiar to "Labenwolf".)
