The construction of the chandelier corresponds to comparable pieces. The suspension rod was fitted with a cover that obviously matched the wall coverings and upholstery of the furniture. The hanging is likely to have corresponded to comparable pieces. The lower end of the chandelier was formed by a so-called “Bas des Lustre” (end bulb). The chandelier had around 20 light fittings and was electrified in 1901/02.

Dresden Palace, 2nd floor west wing, Chinese Room; listed in inventory no. 1 dated January 31, 1920, as part of the settlement agreement between the Free State of Saxony and the former royal family of 1924, which, as room inventory marked with a red cross, belongs to the state; The exact date of removal is not on record, but the removal measures were completed in the summer of 1944.
