Bismarck

Half-length portrait without hands, half to the left. The prince carried Koller with the General Septimius, Order and Grand Cross, from his left shoulder to his right hip. Cuirassier helmet on the head. The picture is oval, surrounded by a painted frame with mediallon below, on which is written: Otto von Bismarck. Light from the front left. The background is blondish brownish, slightly interspersed with rosy and gray tones on the face. Yellow helmet with shining stars, yellow order ribbon. Figure in half life size. Signed right below: F. Lenbach.
