Description
Consisting of a coffee pot with cover, tea pot with cover, sugar caster with cover, bowl for washing dishes and two small cups with saucers. Painted with black enamel with oriental port scenes inside of cartouches with golden ornaments with purple lustre and purple. Bodures of golden lace, wide golden rims. Mark of swords at pots and cups in blue underglaze; at sugar caster and tea pot also K. P. M. Number of gold painter 59. Dish bowl signed with „Herold“. Painted by Christian Friedridi Höroldt. Meissen, around 1730. Coffee pot H. 20,5 cm, tea pot H. 12,5 cm, sugar caster H. 7,7 cm, cups H. 4,1 cm, saucers D. 13,1 cm. The dish vessel has been a loan at museum at castle of Berlin.
