Eduard Fuchs until 1933; 26.10.1933 confiscation by the Berlin-Zehlendorf tax office; on 15.12.1933 handed over to the Gestapo according to the transfer protocol: Package 5: "1 Bild darstellend 2 nackte Personen unter der Fontäne des Springbrunnens, ohne Signum (N°16 A 4)"; 19. 09.1935 short-term release of the Fuchs Collection by the Reichsminister für Wissenschaft, Erziehung und Volksbildung; 16. and 17.06.1937 auction Rudolph Lepke, catalogue 2114, no. 84: "Max Slevogt: Putten am Springbrunnen. Aquarell Gr. 23 x 29 cm. Goldrahmen"; bought by the Lepke commissioner Carl Braunstein (Berlin-Lichtenrade / Straße 6a Nr. 25) for RM 60,- RM (estimate: RM 30,-), possibly also commissioned by the curator of the Berlin National Gallery Dr. Hans Voss (?); whereabouts unknown
