Provenance
until 1618 Melchior Goldast von Haimisfeld collection, which the Bremen City Council purchased in the 17th century. From 1942 onwards, the library holdings were transferred in 1,492 crates to the Wintershall-AG Bernburg potash mine. The Soviet Military Administration Sachsen-Anhalt probably confiscated and removed them.
