Description
In a room furnished in Empire style, two young ladies are sitting in front of a spinet with an open music booklet. One of them holds a fan, next to the second a mandolin is lying on an armchair, while a third lady, a red hat with a black feather on her head, stands behind them. They all look laughing at a dressed up cavalier in a light green flower embroidered skirt, who has just entered, holding a bouquet of flowers in his raised left hand. He has dropped his hat on the floor, intimidated by a dog barking at him. A large picture hangs on the light blue wallpapered wall on the right; on the left, through the half-open window, a view of the corridor and the outside.
