Director Dingler Foundation (Zweibrücken), purchased for the collection of the Historical Museum Pfalz on 2-10-1918; Theft by French officers from the evacuated depots of the Historical Museum Pfalz in the Seysel barracks in Germersheim, transport to Switzerland and Frnace around May 1945; Purchase of the tureen by Max Hoffman at the Swiss art dealer Klingelfüss during the 1950's; sold at auction 11-21-2005 at Christie's in London, auctioned again on 04-29-2006 by Metz auctions Heidelberg; Due to statute of limitations the lawsuit of the Historical Museum Pfalz on handing out the tureen is dismissed by the Landgericht Heidelberg on the 06-21-2006, the tureen is currently in private property.
