23 March 1935: George Behrens informs the Kunsthalle Hamburg that he wishes to sell the painting via Uhde-Bernays, Starnberg. 25/11/1936: On the instructions of the executors, the painting is given to the Commeter art shop on commission. Sold between 1935 and 1945.
