Description
The subject of the No_play (lyrical drama) is the story of Urashima Taro; the group consists of three persons; on the right Urashima Taro in fisherman's costume on the ground - opens box from which comes a turtle; on the left sits on drummer No-player in classical costume; in the middle stands Otohime, the daughter of the Sea King, in the dress of a Chinese princess; signed.

Acquired in 1908 by Herbert Ginsberg in Japan; 1908 to 1942 Ostasiatica Collection Herbert Ginsberg, Berlin; confiscated by the SD in Rotterdam in 1942.
