Description
Pear-shaped jug with flat pewter lid and the initials "XL"; whitish glaze; on the front, inside a greenish leafy wreath, a blue flower with black internal structural drawing; the year 1691 on the side, painted in brown.
Provenance
Formerly Haenert collection, Halle (Saale) - acquired on May 24th 1927 at the Jacob Hecht auction, Berlin, catalogue no. 878, for the sum of 175 marks.
