Acquired in 1807 in an exchange from Oberforstrat von Schilcher; on permanent loan to the Bavarian State Painting Collections in the Germanisches Nationalmuseum in Nuremberg; relocated to Cadolzburg Castle in Middle Franconia during the Second World War; castle burnt down to the outer walls at the end of the war; stored artworks very probably destroyed
