According to Inventory Fondation Custodia Frits Lugt from the abandonment of Frits Lugt's father (Lugt stated that he had purchased the drawing in 1908 for his father at an auction at Frederik Muller & Cie, Amsterdam); Was regarded as lost in 1945; The paper was supposedly purchased by Dr. Günther Busch for the National Gallery of Prague at an unspecified auction of the Dorotheum, Vienna, around 1943; The drawing is now in the National Gallery in Prague, Inv. No. K-8677
