Provenance
Packed in boxes for the Bautzen City Museum and sent to the ‘Von der Busche Barracks’ in Leisnig in the summer of 1944 and to several towns in Lusatia in February and March 1945: The Council Silver Treasure, the Silver Treasure of the Riflemen, the clock collection, the Santo-Passo coin collection, items on loan from St Peter's Cathedral Abbey, parts of the prehistoric collection, the entire graphics collection, textiles (traditional costumes, cloths, bonnets, uniforms, carpets), arts and crafts objects (astronomical instruments, measuring instruments, locks, fittings, porcelain, ceramics, models of Bautzen buildings, old weapons), around 150 paintings. Lost at the relocation site.
