no later than 1939 with Paul Pétridès, dealer of Maurice Utrillo; no later than July 1939 with Jacob Goldschmidt, Paris; since 28 July 1939 on commission with the Perls Galleries, New York; sold by the Perls Galleries, New York, probably as part of their exhibition ‘Utrillo Vlaminck: For The Young Collector’, which took place from 2 March to 5 April 1940. Exhibited there as ‘Rue Saint Rustique à Montmartre’. However, sold by 13 May 1941 at the latest (marked as ‘sold’ in a letter from Jacob Goldschmidt to Klaus Perls dated 13 May 1941); Collection Lowe Foundation, USA; last exhibited in 2007 in the travelling exhibition ‘Maurice Utrillo - Le Montmartre du rêve et de la poésie’ as ‘Rue Rustique et le Sacré-Cœur de Montmartre’, private collection; whereabouts unknown
