Description
The whole foreground is occupied by a hugh waterfall, that's cascading over rocks from a calm river. At right, on low rocks a early gothic church, surrounded by trees and bushes. In the background willows and downs with lot of forests, there's a homestead, a shepahard with flock in front. Evening, cloudy sky. Signed at the right bottom: J. v. R. fecit. Golden frame.
