Description
The scene is divided into a smaller left and a right larger room by a wall diagonally led from the lower left corner of the picture. On the latter one sees the almost naked Susanna sitting in a rectangular basin, which is overlapped by the lower edge of the picture. She turns indignantly against the intrusiveness of the two old women, who come closer from the right. Behind a bushes. Rear facade of a renaissance palace. In the left no image field is a stoning execution. Here, too, parts of Renaissance architecture, between which a scenic view opens, form the rear end.
