Description
Consists of three decoration pieces, a bigger (middle) one and two smaller ones. At center piece two reliefs of bisciut with bathing nymphs, at side ones with putti, one cartouche with a F with garland. (F, the initial of king elector Frederick Carl Joseph of Mainz, Lord of Erthal.) Purple-rose ground with green-yellow dots. Plenty gilt. One of side ones repaired. In blue underglaze wheel. At center piece scratched No 34 F, at side ones No 25 R. Models probably by Johann Peter Melchior. Höchst, around 1775. Literature: Auktionskatalog Hans W.
