Description

Trophy group with tied Turks to the table top for the Empress Catherine II of Russia. White glazed. Three seated, half-naked Turks are tied to a column with heads of heads carrying a trophy of Turkish weapons. Fitting foot plate. Several times damaged. The removable trophy is renewed. Model of Wilhelm Christian Meyer, 1770- 1772. Scepter Mark, scratched: 82
