Parke-Bernet: A glimpse of a lake surrounded by steep green shores beneath a blue sky, seen from the foot of a waterfall, the gorge in the foreground enclosed by vertical rocks surmounted by trees; near the observer at centre appear a stag and two doe listening at the water's edge.
