Oosterlinck, Georges Julien
About the person
Georges Julien Oosterlinck (1910-1945) was a Beligian fighter in the Résistance movement's secret army Le Héron, who was among others arrested in 1943 by the Gestapo and transpoted to Flossenbür concentration camp. His family had provided him with items from their art collection in order to be sold (in Paris) in support of the Résistance (in Paris. Oosterlinck was in close contact with the Polish diplomat count Alexander Mohl who's appartment he used whle in Paris.
