Description
On a pedestal standing to sides of a stake with the tools of pain and the Spanish coat of arms.
The Christ Child with suffering tools triumphing over the devil's serpent corresponds to an old picture tradition. In addition to torture instruments such as the scourge and the Plague column, armor, dice, and Judas pay attention to the tormentors of Christ. The apple in the snake's mouth reminds of the fall and the expulsion from paradise.
