Description

Wooden frame with plaster decoration, damaged.

Centre image split by two vertical cracks.

Provenance

The painting was owned by the Norwegian Joseph Warburg, Oslo. It was delivered to the office of the Reichskommissar for the occupied Norwegian territories in Oslo by a Mr Hirschel. The Reichskommissar donated the painting to the city of Augsburg.
