The Dillis family in front of the forester's house Grüngiebing.
In front of the forester's house, which occupies a large part of the middle ground, the artist's parents are sitting, beside them a standing man on the left, a violinist on the right, and next to him a second musician leaning against the trunk of a tall deciduous tree. In front of them at the ground a little girl is playing with a dog. At the far right side two men are standing and a woman is pouring a glass for them. On the opposite side, on the left, a sitting man drawing, and a standing man. On the far left two women, one of them sitting, while the other is standing with a child in her arms. In the middle distance, left of the door of the forester's house, a dancing couple. Blue sky with grey clouds. At lower left margin traces of an indistinct signature.
