Singing Man
Bust in three-quarter profile to the right, without arms, head almost in profile. Against a whitish background. Face shaded reddish and grey, in it the dark cavity of the opened mouth. The sitter wears a dark grey soft hat with wide brim, tapering upwards. The hat is cut off at the top by the edge of the picture. In the neck a tuft of grey hair visible. White patricide of the shirt, brown vest, black jacket. Loose application of paint, which partly lets the brown wooden ground speak as colour.
