Three-piece jewellery set
Necklace (Inv. No. K 1939/6.1)
Object dimensions 42.4 x 9.7 x 0.7 cm
Seven oval almandines, facet cut upper side, silver setting reverse side, curved frame. The filigree parts each consisting of four larger leaves in the form of pointed oval leaves, with smaller leaves of the same shape in between. At each end two pea chains with ring and gag respectively, the latter at two further small chains. At the front in the middle hanging on the chain a second one with two almandines and three filigree links as before. Both chains connected by a fan-shaped intermediate part, two small filigree bows hanging from the second chain at the bottom of the middle.
Bracelet (Inv. No. K 1939/6.2)
Object size 12.2 x 2.4 x 0.7 cm
Three stones, shape and setting as before, but without framing, and four filigree parts similar to before. Rectangular pressure closure with safety chain.
Pendant (Inv.-No. K 1939/6,3)
Object size 6.4 x 2.9 x 8.1 cm
Small filigree cross with equally long arms, small rosette at the front centre. Two stones hanging from the cross arms on chains of unequal length in the same setting as before.
Purchase (after forced delivery of silver together with Inv. No. K 1939/1 to K 1939/5 and K 1939/7 to K 1939/29)
As forced delivery of precious metal (silver) in accordance with the "Dritten Anordnung auf Grund der Verordnung über die Anmeldung des Vermögens von Juden" of 21 February 1939 to the Regensburg Municipal Leihamt. On 3 May 1939 purchase by the Museum Regensburg together with Inv. No. K 1939/1 to K 1939/5 and K 1939/7 to K 1939/29 for a total of RM 210,-.
Note in the inventory book: "From the pawn office from the sale of the confiscated Regensburg Jew silver. Comes from the property of Jewish families from Rgb. [Regensburg]." Previous provenance unknown.
